Mark qualified from Birmingham University in 1981. Following a year working as a dental resident at Walsall General Hospital he moved to Devon in 1983.
Mark is married to Lucy, who recently gave birth to their first child. In his spare time Mark enjoys ‘messing around’ on his boat on the River Dart.

Anna-Marie Smith B.Ch.D.

Anna-Marie trained at the Stellenbosch University in South Africa before moving to England in 2000. She has lived in Devon for several years and joined the Practice in January 2009.
Anna-Marie is married to Tom and is the mother of two young children. When she gets any spare time she enjoys looking after her menagerie of pets which includes two pigs, two dogs, one cat, four chickens and two ducks!

Linda Crook R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist – GDC reg. no. 2660 (29.09.83)
Linda qualified as a dental nurse from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1980. In 1983 she qualified as a dental hygienist from Leeds Dental School. Linda moved to Devon in 1983 and has lived in Bovey Tracey since 1987. Linda is also the Practice Manager.
Linda is married to Bernie. In her spare time she is involved with the Bovey Tracey Players and also enjoys walking her golden retriever, Bertie.

Louisa Jenkins R.D.H., R.D.T.
Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist – GDC reg. no. 174123 (03.04.09)
Louisa joined the Practice in May 2009 having returned to Devon after completing her training at Bristol University.
In her spare time Louisa enjoys wakeboarding and ‘treading the boards’, singing and dancing with TOADS and TOPS.

Laurina Jones R.D.N
Dental Nurse – GDC reg. no. 104929 (12.10.06)
Laurina joined the Practice in 1993 and qualified as a dental nurse in 1997. She also holds a Certificate in Radiography.
Laurina works with Linda & Louisa
Laurina is married to Paul and has a daughter.
Laura Leppard
Trainee Dental Nurse
Laura has been dental nursing since 2007. She joined the Practice in September 2009 and is currently working towards the Dental Nurses National Certificate. Laura works with Mark and Louisa.
Laura spends all her spare time searching for ‘Prince Charming’!
Sarah Paine
Trainee Dental Nurse
Sarah joined the Practice in May 2009. She is currently working towards the Dental Nurses National Certificate. Sarah works with Anna-Marie and also works at our sister practice, the Devon Dental Centre of Excellence, in Ashburton.
Sarah is a big music enthusiast and enjoys going to ‘gigs’ and planning weekends away to explore different cities.
Frances Wilkes
Dental Receptionist
Frances joined the team in January 2009 and will usually be your first point of contact when you visit or telephone the Practice. She is highly personable and always provides a warm welcome.
Frances enjoys relaxing with her partner, Terry, interspersed with a little retail therapy!
